Phakchok Rinpoche: Developing Dignity
September 7, 2022 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm EDT

Samye Institute is proud to announce that Phakchok Rinpoche will teach at Westchester Meditation Center in Irvington, NY.
In entering the Bodhisattva path we are undertaking a tremendous responsibility. First, we become responsible to ourselves—to be realistic in our outlook, genuine in our heart, and gentle in our approach. Second, we assume responsibility for others—for everyone we meet—in that same way. Through this process we become a dignified human being. Though what we are doing day to day may seem insignificant, by cultivating our fundamental human dignity in this way, we can play a tremendous role in developing peace throughout the world.
This teaching will be in English and will have live translation into Spanish, Thai and Portuguese. Recorded translations will be available in Ukrainian, French, and Vietnamese.
Recordings of this teaching will be available for 48 hours on Samye Institute’s YouTube page.
