Tsok Bum Series : Tsok Bum Series: Lamé Tukdrup Barché Künsel (The Guru’s Heart Practice, Dispeller of All Obstacles)

    September 16, 2021 @ 8:00 am

    Dear Dharma Friends,

For the previous Tsok Bum—the accumulation of 100,000 Feast Offerings—of Tukdrup Sampa Lhündrup, we shared with you a short introduction to Guru Rinpoche, Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, Tukdrup Sampa Lhündrup, the Feast Offering, and the sacred site of Asura Cave. For the upcoming tsok bum of Lamé Tukdrup Barché Künsel we would like to share with you a short biography of Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo, who revealed the Lamé Tukdrup Barché Künsel, along with a short introduction to this practice.

Below is key information about the Tukdrup Barché Künsel Tsok Bum

Date: September 16th (September 15th in the Americas)
    Time: 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. Nepal Time

You can check the time for your location here.

We will offer interpretation service into Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, Ukrainian, Thai, and Vietnamese. If you want to learn how to access your language channel, click here.

You can access the Tukdrup Barché Künsel liturgy here. It is available in Tibetan with translation into: English, Ukrainian, Thai, Portuguese, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesian, Vietnamese and Spanish.

Zoom registration is required for everyone, regardless of whether or not you will join the Zoom meeting. Please follow these steps for registering, pledging the number of malas of recitations, and attending Zoom:

    Meeting ID: 811 4222 5143

    Passcode: 760125

Please click here to register and pledge the malas that you will accumulate.

    Joining via YouTube

At the same time that we are practicing via Zoom, we will be live-streaming aspects of the Samye Zoom meeting via YouTube.

If you are not available at that time, then as a support for your practice the recording will be shared shortly afterward on Samye Institute’s Facebook page.

Remember: even if you decide to join via YouTube, you still have to register and pledge your malas on Zoom. Please note: translations in different languages are only available via Zoom, not YouTube.

    Reflection of the Day

Dignity is the true home to which you can always return, regardless of whatever circumstances may arise in your life. You may receive a promotion or a demotion. You may be happy or sad. You may be struggling or at peace. When you are at home in your dignity—staying grounded in your good heart, in your mind’s true nature—you can notice whatever is happening and respond appropriately.
