Dear friends near and far

I hope you’ve all been well, happy and healthy. I want to again remind you all to take a moment to reflect on your lives. And as you go on, try to concentrate on the following points:

  1. Carefulness
  2. Conscientiousness
  3. Mindfulness

Be careful with the matters of your mundane life.

Be conscious about what you do. Don’t be like a blind man; see what you are doing through the actions of your body, through your speech and most importantly through your mind. Be Mindful.

All phenomena are empty and selfless.
When you see this with wisdom,
Suffering will not harm you.
This is the path of purity.

—Dhammapada

I would like to remind you all to examine and investigate the identity of “self”. Try to see where the negative emotions are appearing from, and where the negative emotions are disappearing to. Look into your feelings: “Why am I sad?” “Where is the sadness coming from?” Buddha said this is the path of purity. Do not forget to remind yourself of these points.

In order to help practice “selflessness”, you need to be careful, conscientious and mindful.
