Upcoming Pujas @ Do-Ngak Ling Monastery

Annual Korwa Dongtruk Puja

The Annual Korwa Dongtruk Puja at Do-Ngak Ling Monastery takes place every year, usually in the 6th or 7th month of the lunar calendar (see schedule here).
Please Note
Offerings and names of dedication for this year's Annual Korwa Dongtruk Puja are accepted until 12pm Kathmandu time 1 day before the puja begins. Offerings and names of dedication received later than this will be included in next year's Korwa Dongtruk Puja.

Korwa Dongtruk is a teaching of Guru Rinpoche revealed in a terma by the great tertön, Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa. Compiled by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, the sādhana, entitled “All-pervading Benefit,” is a practice of Red Avalokiteshvara.

This sādhana includes specific meditation practices to benefit those who have died. Meant to be used during our day and age for the benefit of all sentient beings, this practice is known for its great power and effectiveness to liberate one from the difficult rebirths of samsara.

For this special puja, please mark clearly which dedications are for those who are alive and which are for the deceased.
