Drupla Sonam Tsering’s Ngöndro Course to Resume in Februrary

Samye Institute would like to remind all students of the valuable resource of Drupla Sonam’s detailed teachings on the Four Mind Changings. You can find these teachings in the ongoing course, The Seed of Supreme Awakening. Phakchok Rinpoche has repeatedly reminded us that we all should reflect on these four topics until we see actual transformation. This reflection is a key element of the first pillar of practice, that of Mind Training. Drupla Sonam has taught each reflection in depth as a basis for all the rest of our Dharma practice.

Remember that recordings of all sessions are available on the Samye Institute website. If you do not speak English, you can also listen to the interpretation audios posted in each video’s description. Note that you have to be registered at Samye Institute to be able to watch the teachings.

For those who are engaged in the Ngöndro practice itself, the Seed of Supreme Awakening course will pause during December and January due to Drupla’s schedule. We will resume Zoom sessions in February 2024. Please also watch for notification of the timing of the next reading transmission (lung) for the Four Foundations.

If you are inspired to start this Ngöndro you can do so while aspiring to receive the lung from a qualified teacher sometime soon. You can also check our online course, currently only available in English, where Phakchok Rinpoche gives the pith instructions of the accumulation practices.

We look forward to seeing students of this series in February 2024!
