Phakchok Rinpoche: The Importance of Gurus

Samye Institute is delighted to announce that on the 152nd anniversary of the Parinirvana of the Great Tertön, Chokgyur Dechen Zhikpo Lingpa (June 30th, 2022), Phakchok Rinpoche will generously offer a teaching to our global sangha. This teaching is titled “The Importance of Gurus and the Profound Guru-Disciple Relationship.”
As the guru-disciple relationship is at the heart of the Vajrayana teachings, this teaching is of great value to all those beginning or continuing Vajrayana practice.
The teaching will occur at 5:45PM Nepal time, you can find your local time here.
This teaching will be in English, with translation into the following languages: French, Ukrainian, Chinese, Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai, German, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
The teaching will be given in English. It will also be live-streamed via YouTube. Since Zoom space is limited, if you don’t need translations, please kindly consider attending the teaching via the YouTube link. Please register for the teaching via Zoom, even if you intend to watch the teaching on YouTube.
If you do require translation, please try to arrive for the teaching between 5:30 and 5:45pm, Nepal time. If you arrive later, there may not be space available.
The YouTube recording of this teaching will be left available on YouTube for 24 hours after the teaching finishes. It is English only; live translation will not be available.
