    Dear Dharma brothers and sisters,

In 2009, Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche, began offering a carefully arranged course on the complete Tibetan Buddhist Path, The 9 Yānas or “vehicles”. He wanted to give  students the opportunity to study and train thoroughly and genuinely, in the traditional manner, on the gradual path.  He thus developed this very special program of teachings and supervised the collation and translation of important classical texts to support one’s practice for both new and experienced Dharma students.

This year Rinpoche has kindly agreed to offer separate retreats for different levels of the program at Gomde New York in New York State, USA.

In order to ensure that participants receive the most possible benefit and strongest foundation in these teachings, Rinpoche will teach separate sections for each of the first three Yānas.

Rinpoche has requested that all his students complete a Dawn of Dharma retreat (being introduced from July 10-13 at Gomde, Cooperstown) or regularly attend Dharma Stream teachings at a study group or center in order to attend a Nine Yānas retreat.  Students who attended a previous retreat will enter the next level.
